I know I haven’t posted in a while, but I assure you, I’m still here and I have a few topics spinning in my head to post on, but my time has been consumed lately by another project I am undertaking with a good friend of mine. I love podcasts and the way they allow for such diverse conversations and discussions. I’ve done Podtacular for six years and it has become a hobby, let alone a passion, of mine. TitanfallPodcast.com is home to Titancast: the Titanfall Podcast where I co-host with my friend Vanirfreyja. It is a place for us to do stuff very similar to what I do with Podtacular, writing up news articles, highlighting the community, and of course, producing the podcast. Dusting Off Some Old Bits
Why hello there, and welcome to my blog. If you are here then you likely know who I am, but for those who do not, I am Dustin Pettigrew. I go by “Dust Storm” around the internet as my gamer handle. I’m a big gamer and a Halo lover who runs and hosts Podtacular: The Unofficial Halo Universe Podcast. I graduated with a Masters in Computer Science and currently work as a Systems Engineer.
While most of my free or “gaming” time is consumed with Halo, I wanted an outlet where I could voice my opinion about things other than Halo. While I’m a dedicated Halo enthusiast, there are plenty of other games I enjoy and topics that come up that I feel I could share with others that are outside the realm of Halo. With that said, if you’re here and you decide to stay, then prepare for a dose of my inner thoughts around gaming and technology.
